Headwear specialist Headsweats has confirmed an extension of its partnership with multisport event management company, MultiRace, for the second year in a row. As part of the partnership, Headsweats will be the presenting sponsor of the Mack Cycle Miami Man Half Iron and International Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike, an event that also coincides with USA Triathlon’s Multisport National Championship Festival for the weekend of November 10-11, 2018.

To celebrate and promote its involvement, Headsweats will be giving away five entry bibs to the Miami Man race through a contest on its social media channels later this year.

Based in Florida and established in 2002, MultiRace creates triathlon, duathlon and running events – managing more than 30 running, cycling, and swimming events per year, including the Las Olas International Triathlon and Key West Triathlon.

“MultiRace is an extremely dedicated organization committed to producing quality endurance events for athletes and spectators alike,” said Mike McQueeney, President of Headsweats. “We’re very excited to provide them with custom performance visors for their races.”

Headsweats, now in its 20th year, has been manufacturing performance headwear ‘for more triathlon finishers and podiums than any other headwear company.’ Its race hats, visors and cycling caps have been featured in high-profile events such as the Tour de France and US Military Endurance Sports.

Established in 2002, and acquired by DaGrosa Partners in late 2013, MultiRace states that it is ‘committed to continuously improving the racer’s experience and the quality of events.’ The organiser claims to be the largest multiple-sport event management company in the State of Florida managing more than 30 endurance events scheduled for 2016. Other events in the company’s roster include Tri Cocoa Village, the Key West Triathlon and Havana Triathlon.
