A.S.O - Paris-Nice 2018 winner Marc Soler

Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O) has released an infographic showcasing some of the highpoints of this year’s Paris-Nice 2018 pro cycling race. Nicknamed the ‘Race To The Sun’, the race dates back to 1933. This year’s Paris-Nice delivered eight stages throughout France. Spanish rider Marc Soler of Movistar took the win by just four seconds from Britain’s Simon Yates.

Highlights include:

  • 30 nationalities represented in the peloton
  • 7.9 million weekly television viewers
  • Coverage of the race in 190 countries worldwide
  • 108,800 fans on social networks vs 80,000 in 2017 (+36% year on year)
