‘Limited retail space left’ at The National Running Show 2019

The National Running Show organising team has announced that limited retail space remains for the event on 19th-20th January 2019 at Birmingham’s NEC.

‘With just under two months to go, now is the time for any businesses not yet signed up to confirm their space at this multi award-winning exhibition dedicated to running.’

The National Running Show gathers sports brands, retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers, communities and expert speakers together under one roof for the benefit of the running community. It is positioned as ‘a must for any business related to running and a key weekend for runners from all over the UK looking to be informed and inspired ahead of race season.’

Over 28,500 tickets have already been sold for the consumer expo. The organisers added that it is once more on track to be a sell-out. After the success of the 2018 show, the 2019 event ‘boasts a much larger floor space, the presence of many big names in running and many more interactive sponsor areas where runners can try out gait analysis, trainer fitting, massage and many other features first-hand.’

A wide range of running-related companies will be exhibiting at the show and chatting to visitors about their offerings, making the show an opportunity for runners to speak to those in the know, get advice, try out products first-hand and socialise with like-minded people. From nutrition and hydration to apparel, events, charities and communities, there is plenty to occupy and inspire visitors over the course of the two days.

In addition to an impressive line-up of exhibitors, The National Running Show has partnered with many top names in running. Official partners and sponsors for the event include: Up & Running, Intersport, ASICS, New Balance, Ronhill, Hilly, Altra, Saucony, Polar, On, Scimitar, Deaf Hub, Breathe Unity, Run Mummy Run, Runderwear, Sports Injury Fix, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Go Run Right, Run3D, Go Faster Foods, Precision Hydration, pulseroll, as well as Athletics Weekly, Runner’s World and Sports Insight.

Visitors to the 2019 event will also be treated to a speaker programme that includes Paula Radcliffe MBE, Roger Black MBE, Iwan Thomas MBE, Jo Pavey MBE, Susie Chan, Ben Smith, Vassos Alexander and ‘many more inspiring athletes and adventurers’.

The National Running Show won the awards for Best Launch (Trade or Consumer) and Best Show Director at the EN Indy Awards 2018 in November 2018, where it was also shortlisted for Best Feature Area. It also won the award for Best Consumer Show Launch at the AEO Excellence Awards and was shortlisted in the Show Rising Star category at the Exhibition News Awards earlier this year.
