Mark Cavendish to attend Cycle Show 2018

The Cycle Show 2018, ‘the UK’s national cycling showcase’, which takes place on September 28-30, has today announced that Mark Cavendish MBE, will attend this year’s event.

Cavendish, who has an incredible 146 professional victories to his name including 48 Grand Tour wins and the 2011 World Championships title, will appear alongside a star-studded list of riders at the 2018 Cycle Show; which the organisers add is ‘shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet’.

The British public will have an opportunity to connect with Cavendish on Sunday 30th September, the final day of the Cycle Show. Here he will deliver a Q&A with the audience, allowing visitors to put their questions directly to him, as well as sharing tales of his journey from riding BMX as a child to being at the top of his sport.

VIP ticket holders will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders in the VIP Lounge where he’ll be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham between 28th and 30th September, The Cycle Show is positioned as the best place in the UK to see, try and buy the latest 2019 products from the leading brands. With free test tracks featuring the latest road bikes, MTBs, electric and kids bikes, visitors have the option to ‘try before they buy’ alongside benefiting from special show offers on cycling gear, accessories and kit.

There will also be two kids tracks to get youngsters riding. For slightly higher-octane action, the Extreme Bike Battle will provide a chance to see adrenaline fuelled, jaw-dropping stunts from across the BMX and MTB world – with the UK’s number one BMX ranked rider Lee Musselwhite on hand to show fans how to master the BMX.
