Interbike Marketweek will take place in the Reno Tahoe region beginning with the Northstar Free-Ride Festival in North Lake Tahoe, CA, on September 14-16, 2018 (with bike demos taking place on September 15-16). OutDoor Demo will run from September 16-17, 2018 for members of the trade, followed by the Interbike Expo in Reno, NV on September 18-20, 2018.
The new VeloNews and Triathlete websites will launch publicly this December and are now under development by award-winning user experience and website designer Daniel Boguszewski. Boguszewski previously guided the redesigns of Outside Online, Martha Stewart, Daily Beast, and Newsweek.
“I design websites where the content is hero and the reader comes first,” said Boguszewski. “The new VeloNews and Triathlete websites we will reveal at Interbike are earning enthusiastic feedback from our beta testers because we started the design process with detailed audience studies, surveys, and focus groups.”
The new websites will launch with four all-new, cutting edge article templates that present news, long-form feature stories, a related-article stack, and short-form content designed for modern web reading habits.
‘The new VeloNews.com and Triathlete.com will feature big, beautiful images, eye-pleasing space, innovative interactive features, and industry-leading options for custom content and image-based advertising.’
“Our beta tests are already showing huge gains in viewability and ad engagement compared with our current websites,” said Anna Horsch, Director of Digital Strategy and Ad Operations for Pocket Outdoor Media, which publishes VeloNews and Triathlete. “I’m thrilled to share Daniel’s cutting-edge user experience and reveal our initial ad metrics results at Interbike.”
