As an official travel partner for the ITU 2018 World Championships on the Gold Coast, Australia, Nirvana Europe is already preparing the logistics to transport over 300 GB age group triathletes (and their bikes) across the globe to the race in September.
Taking place this year, on 12-16 September, the ITU World Championships will see 5,000 of the world’s best elite and age group triathletes head to Australia for the pinnacle race of ITU’s 2018 standard distance season. Athletes representing 46 nations will be competing at the event location of Southport Broadwater Parklands, which was home to the 2009 ITU World Championships.
This year, Nirvana Europe is getting ready to organise the travel logistics for hundreds of competitors, with 346 GB age group triathletes confirmed so far to travel to compete at the Gold Coast. Nirvana Europe offers those attending the event two accommodation options. This includes the official race hotel, the 4* Crown Mantra Towers Hotel as well as added extras including return flights, airport transfers, bike mechanical services, bike course tours and more.
Athletes also have the option to book a full end-to-end tour package, ‘providing them with the best possible preparation for the race’, including swim and bike course orientation and free bike carriage on all flights booked with Etihad through Nirvana.
Nirvana Europe provides specialist travel and accommodation packages for individual competitors, clubs and spectators to triathlon events all over the world. Packages are designed to take away the travel stress from trips and include a range of components from flights or accommodation to athlete friendly catering and other event specific options.
Nirvana Europe’s aim is to give participants, and other attendees alike, peace of mind when travelling to triathlon events. Nirvana Europe is the official travel partner of IRONMAN Europe providing travel services to IRONMAN events since 2005. Nirvana is also the official Great Britain Age Group Team travel supplier, working with British Triathlon to help provide hotels and facilities for GB Age Group Team members that are representing their country at championship events.
Nirvana Europe is licensed and bonded by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) so all travel packages are protected, ‘meaning that triathletes can concentrate on the event in hand’.
