Following the launch of the POWERBEAT G3 at Eurobike this summer, Watteam is introducing the latest generation of its power meters to North America at Interbike 2018. The POWERBERAT G3 line of products includes: the G3 Single, G3 Dual and the 2×2 – along with, a new interactive app that turns a phone into a head unit.
Boasting ‘a sleek new design, and advanced app’ that now includes the POWERBET G3 2×2, Wattteam adds ‘just because you have two bikes, doesn’t mean you need two power meters.’ Watteam will be at the Interbike Media Preview on September 17th, and at booth number 2213 for the entire duration of Interbike 2018.
The newest generation of POWERBEAT G3 power meters devices:
- POWERBEAT G3 2×2, one pro-level power meter supporting two bikes.
- POWERBEAT G3 Single
- POWERBEAT G3 Dual
With a sophisticated, aerodynamic design, the POWERBEATTM G3 blends to the crank arm. The POWERBEAT 2×2 offers one power meter, supporting two bikes. Here, with a switch of the comp units, and one click on the POWERBEAT G3 app, Watteam adds that ‘The cyclist is now in control of the bike he chooses to train, race, and enjoy.’ The 2×2 utilises one power meter, with separate calibration values.
Watteam adds that has upgraded the POWERBEAT, but not the prices. G3 Single is priced at US$259, G3 Dual US$399, G3 Upgrade Kit US$219 and the POWERBEAT 2×2 US$599.
