The UK’s leading multisport and active leisure tour operator, Sports Tours International, has followed its recent acquisition of Dublin based Sports Travel International with another strategic addition to the company’s customer service and operational offer. Sports Tours’ acquisition of Race Force gives the tour operator an added string to its bow, with access to bike transportation and logistics expertise. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Race Force was established in 2012 by founder Kate Linsley and has grown to support hundreds of British athletes every season at triathlons all over Europe. The company’s services range from bike transport to complete race tours, including transfers, accommodation and coached reccies of race courses in the days leading up to the event.
Race Force owner Kate has decided it is now the right time for some new energy to continue the work started and to take Race Force to the next level. Going forwards, under the Sports Tours umbrella, Race Force will deliver more events and more services.
Sports Tours International already has a significant presence in triathlon with the extensive training facility at Club La Santa in Lanzarote, Spain. As a leading multi sports travel company in Europe for running and cycling, working with prestigious events such as the TCS New York City Marathon, the BMW Berlin Marathon, Tour De France, Giro d’Italia and IRONMAN Lanzarote, Race Force is seen as a perfect fit.
