blueseventy has renewed its partnership with Team Timex, ‘the world’s longest-running triathlon team’. The successful partnership has been renewed for another two years and will see the team training and racing in the highly anticipated new blueseventy Helix wetsuit, which is due for launch imminently.
Timex Multisport Team was born in 2001 with the mission of supporting athletes who strive to push the limits of the mind and body. The team consists of 50 athletes ranging from full time professional athletes, to age groupers, and influential triathlon figures. 2018 has already started well with a win for Jeanni Seymour at IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa last month.
With another two-year partnership confirmed, blueseventy hopes to see Team Timex athletes achieve further success this year and beyond, particularly given the launch of key new products, including the fifth generation Helix, in 2018.
Tristan Brown, Team Timex Manager said “2018 marks our sixth year in a row with blueseventy and we couldn’t be prouder to represent a brand so dedicated to swim and triathlon. There is no substitute for a great suit and blueseventy delivers like no other.”
Blueseventy CEO, John Duquette added “This is a perfect partnership as far as blueseventy is concerned. Timex has great athletes, who provide invaluable feedback on our products and perform at the highest level.”
He continued “Timex athletes communicate a lifestyle based on commitment to doing something you love. It’s brought them success as well as admiration from everyone here; we genuinely enjoy supporting them.”
