The Color Run London puts fitness to the test with new partner F45

The Color Run has signed F45, billed as ‘the world’s fastest growing functional training network’, as the Presenting Partner of its 2018 London event, which takes place on Sunday 8 July. IMG, which organises the event, has also penned deals with JBL as Official Audio Electronics Sponsor, and NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) as its Official Charity Partner.

F45 offers ‘Big Box’ gyms to sport-specific training studios, focusing on varying training styles to reach an individual’s health and fitness goals. The F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department create 45-minute workouts from a database of over 3,000 different exercises.

As part of their new partnership, F45 will be launching its ‘F45 Playoffs’ in London for the first time at The Color Run. The fitness test consisting of 10 stations, with 45 seconds’ work and 15 seconds’ rest will be available for anyone to try, from 09:00 GMT in the Sponsor Activation Village. Participants can register for limited spaces prior to the event at f45playoffs.com.

Founded in 1946, new Color Run London Official Audio Electronics Sponsor JBL is an American company that manufactures premium loudspeakers and associated electronics, such as wireless bluetooth speakers, Android & iOS headphones, soundbars, subwoofers and more. The new partnership with The Color Run comes as JBL celebrated the launch of its new product range in May, which will be debuted at the Color Run London Finish Festival.

NSPCC, the charity campaigning and working in child protection returns as the event’s Official Charity Partner for the fourth year running. Other partners for this year’s event include Skinny Brands, as the event’s Official Celebrations Sponsor, Vita Coco, as the Official Coconut Water Sponsor, The Protein Ball Co, as new event partner, and Austrian Organic cereal brand, Verival as the Official Cereal partner.

The Color Run, dubbed as ‘The Happiest 5k on the Planet’, is returning to London for its sixth edition on Sunday 8 July at Wembley Park. Thousands of Color Runners will make their way round the 5k course, doused in coloured powder at every kilometre, before celebrating with friends and family at the Finish Festival.
