Heading to the trails with UTMB International
UTMB International continues to drive the development and expansion of ultra-trail running across the globe. For the first time in 2018, OC Sport and its subsidiary UTMB International supported the creation and organisation of new major international trail running events, inspired by the model and event standards established by UTMB Mont-Blanc.
The inaugural GAOLIGONG by UTMB established itself as a major event on the Asian trail running calendar. OMAN by UTMB, with 57 different countries represented at the start line, brought long distance trail running to the Middle East for the first time.
More than 500 runners have reportedly signed up for the third act of the UTMB International calendar, Ushuaia by UTMB, which will take place on 5th-7th April 2019.
