Zwift is inviting its users to join the company’s CEO Eric Min for a birthday run, which takes place on Thursday 30th May.
Having founded the app in 2014, Min has seen his creation reach over 1 million runners and riders in just five years – with group runs becoming an increasingly popular offering on the virtual training & racing platform.
On the day, Zwift notes that ‘participants can expect a truly global experience as they join other runners from across the world to run 5.2 miles on the Zwift London course to celebrate the man that made it all possible.’
There will also be the chance to interact with Eric throughout the run via the app’s in-game chat function.
Runners of all ages and skill levels are invited. The group run starts at 10:00 BST. Zwift adds that ‘the event may be a few days after Eric Min’s 52nd birthday, but that doesn’t make it any less special.’
