The European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) is opening its doors to the wider sports nutrition industry for its next Quarterly Members Meeting, taking place on 30th May 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
In a release trade body ESSNA notes that… ‘The day promises to be dynamic and engaging for influential figures in the sports nutrition industry and key political stakeholders. Attendees will benefit from informative discussions led by experts on the topics of novel foods, anti-doping and CBD among others; a speed networking event with like-minded industry professionals; and a networking drinks reception designed to bring together familiar faces and new connections. A full programme detailing exact timings and profiles of guest speakers will be published soon.’
For the first time since its inception, ESSNA is opening up its normally closed meetings to non-members. The aim is to offer the rest of the industry a glimpse into ESSNA’s inner workings and is a ‘one-time opportunity to contribute to the trade association’s strategy and direction’. All businesses in the sports nutrition industry are welcome and strongly encouraged to bring a guest from their industry contacts. The free to attend meeting only has a few spaces remaining. Businesses can register online.
ESSNA is positioned as the voice of the sports nutrition industry and is in dialogue with regulators and policy makers, campaigning in favour of proportionate EU legislation that protects consumers and does not adversely affect the industry.
