Tuscany, Cinque Terre, the Amalfi Coast and the Langhe are just some of the areas of Italy featured on the exclusive tours that Santini is organising from this year. The apparel firm has established a partnership with ChronoPlus, a company specialising in designing and delivering cycling tours in Italy.
A release from Santini notes that… ‘Each of the Santini Cycling Tours will allow participants to discover areas of stunning beauty and also get to know the nation’s history and legendary traditional foods and wines.’
A choice of seven packages are available for 2019 as part of a project that will soon also extend to training camps designed by Alessandro Vanotti and other Santini brand ambassadors.
The Santini Cycling Tours are designed as a ‘360-degree experiences which aside from the fun, freedom and exploration that only a cycling holiday can deliver will also introduce participants to Italy’s history and gastronomic tradition.’
The holidays on offer for 2019 seek to encapsulate the very best of the Made in Italy ethic: the Lucca Tour, Cinque Terre Tour, Bartali Experience, Tyrrhenian-Adriatic Tour, Amalfi Coast Tour, Italian Lakes Tour and the Barolo Tour. The tours offer up week-long experiences with expert guides and a complimentary Santini-designed cycling kit.
Santini Cycling Tours is being launched in partnership with ChronoPlus. It will also extend to training camps designed for cyclists wanting to improve their performance. In collaboration with Santini’s ambassadors and athletes, including ex-pro road racer Alessandro Vanotti, the company will be offering experiences in Italy and beyond to help cyclists improve their skills.
There will be a focus also on female cyclists with specific events organised by the brand’s women athletes and ambassadors.
Also in the works are camps that prepare participants for specific international events such as the Granfondo Stelvio Santini, the Granfondo Mont Ventoux and the Granfondo Marco Pantani.
