Images from 2019 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship: part four, men’s race

Approximately 3,500 men took to the the Mediterranean Sea for day two of the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship hosted in Nice, France.

The men’s race started with a swim in La Baie des Anges, followed by a bike course that winded through the mountains surrounding Nice, including Col de Vence, and finished with a run along the world-famous Promenade des Anglais. Male athletes as young as 18 and as old as 80 competed to earn the title of World Champion.
