The organisers of the award-winning National Running Show have confirmed that there will be a dedicated Intersport Zone at the event at Birmingham’s NEC on 19-20 January 2019.
As a leading UK sports retaile, Intersport will host three main feature areas within the Intersport Zone: The Running Skills Theatre, The Test Track and Brilliant Shoe Discovery by SafeSize.
The Running Skills Theatre sponsored by Intersport (Stand K10) brings together some of the biggest names in running to help provide practical advice and inspiration for runners. Visitors can listen to a line-up of industry experts and receive practical advice that they can implement in order to improve their running.
The Test Track sponsored by Intersport (Stand J20) is an new feature for the show, enabling visitors to take part in track sessions with some of the leading brands in running, live at the show. Participants will be able to speak to major running brands directly and get active in fun, interactive track sessions.
As a specialist in shoe recommendation and fitting advice, SafeSize is sponsoring Brilliant Shoe Discovery (Stand H20). It will be offering a personalised shoe fitting experience that aims to make shopping for shoes easy and fun. ‘Visitors to the show can scan their feet and in just two seconds receive a 3D Foot profile, which they match to their favourite sport in order to help discover the perfect shoe for them.’
Visitors to the Intersport Zone can look forward to chatting to a team of experts for advice and tips. In addition to the main feature areas, Intersport will be supporting brands including ASICS and New Balance and hosting an Ask the Experts area, where visitors will have the opportunity to book a 1-to-1 coaching session with some of the biggest names in running.
The National Running Show is the UK’s biggest independent running show – with a range of kit, tech, nutrition, advice, inspiration and races with which runners can plan their running season. With over 170 brands under one roof, special offers, new launches and limited releases, the show is positioned as an inspiration at the beginning of the calendar year.

The National Running Show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 09:00-17:00 on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th January 2019. Tickets cost £10 and are valid for entry on both days. Tickets will be available on the door, but pre-booking is recommended for faster entry.
