HOKA ONE ONE has unveiled its spring 2020 line, which fine-tunes and reconstructs existing favourite models, and introduces new ones. Designed to ‘fit the needs of athletes the world over.. in every setting from the gym to the mountains’, HOKA adds that its S’20 line-up is the latest reflection of the brand’s performance roots expanded to empower athletes of all types reach new heights.
A premium trainer that provides cushion and a secure ride, the Elevon 2 has had an update. It features more support in the midfoot and forefoot and has asymmetrical internal support wings for an individualized fit. This update includes softer cushion to emphasize step-in comfort plus an extended heel for smoother transitions. Both responsive and cushioned, HOKA adds that the Elevon trainer ‘allows you to pick up the pace or take it slow for recovery’. RRP £140.
With an eye toward performance, the Mach 3 continues to deliver responsive cushion in a lightweight package. Now featuring an engineered jacquard upper, the Mach 3 has a speed-inspired design and improved midfoot lockdown thanks to more durable fabric. ‘This shoe provides fast cushion that’ll help you push the pace on training runs or race day.’ RRP £130.
The fourth edition of the Arahi continues to focus on comfortable support. The Arahi 4 provides a ride that is smooth and supportive but still prioritizes performance. Featuring HOKA’s patent-pending J-Frame stability technology, the Arahi 4 offers support and agility throughout the run. Hiking and trail running
Named for HOKA Athlete Karl ‘Speedgoat’ Meltzer, the Speedgoat 4 is part of an award-winning product family known for making quick work of technical terrain. The fourth edition features a new breathable yet rugged mesh, 3D printed overlays for increased midfoot support and an overall more secure feel, and a more accommodating fit in the toe box for a more comfortable ride. For the first time, it is also available in extra widths. RRP £125.
Additionally, two of HOKA’s most popular off-road options can now handle rainy trails through to snowy roads with the industry-leading waterproof technology of GORE-TEX. The Speedgoat 4 GTX (£135) includes a more accommodating forefoot and 3D-printed overlays for added midfoot support.
The Challenger ATR GORE-TEX (RRP £125) features a strategic lug pattern for smooth transitions and a soft ride. Complete with a GORE-TEX waterproof bootie, this is an all-terrain shoe. RRP £125.
Equal parts Speedgoat and mid-cut fast hiker, the Speedgoat Mid GTX 2 is positioned between a trail runner and hiking boot. Featuring an anatomically designed collar for additional ankle support, the Speedgoat Mid GTX 2 has a GORE-TEX waterproof bootie. A speed hiker with a Vibram Megagrip outsole, the Speedgoat Mid GTX 2 has an RRP of £150.
Mountain performance meets everyday style in the Stinson Mid GORE-TEX. This boot is ultra-cushioned and features a GORE-TEX waterproof bootie with an anatomically designed collar for support. It handles varying surfaces thanks to 4mm sticky rubber lugs that form an all-terrain outsole. It also has a waterproof Nubuck leather upper. RRP £160.
Designed for the city and the trails, the Challenger Low GORE-TEX features a waterproof Nubuck leather and a GORE-TEX waterproof bootie for a clean look. Featuring HOKA’s all-terrain outsole with 4mm sticky rubber lugs, this shoe has a soft, cushioned ride. RRP £130.

Finally, the Hopara is billed as ‘an outdoor explorer that easily navigates through any terrain — wet or dry’. The Hopara has a synthetic upper with strategic cut-outs for drainage while still providing a secure lockdown. It includes a neoprene collar for flexibility and comfort plus a quick-lace system. Providing a responsive yet cushioned feel thanks to a rubberized EVA midsole, the Hopara also features a rubberized toe cap for protection and a sticky rubber outsole for traction in all conditions. In its third edition, the Cavu ‘challenges what’s possible with lightweight cushion’. One of HOKA’s lightest trainers, the Cavu 3 features a form-fitting stretch knit upper that provides an adaptive fit and locked-in feel.
