Launch of National Running Show Networking Dinner

The organisers of The National Running Show have announced a B2B National Running Show Networking Dinner, taking place on Saturday 25th January 2020 and coinciding with the third edition of the award-winning National Running Show.

The National Running Show Networking Dinner is positioned as a unique opportunity for the B2B running community to meet, network and do business in a fun and friendly environment.

Hosted by comedians Paul Tonkinson and Rob Deering, it promises to be ‘a networking dinner with a twist’, with guests moving tables between each course, a networking bar open throughout the evening and a special event app allowing guests to message and meet each other as well as scan each other’s details.

Taking place at the end of day one of The National Running Show, it is expected that 400 guests will attend the Networking Dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, NEC. The evening starts with a drinks reception from 19:00 GMT, followed by entertainment and a seated three-course meal.

The dinner is a dedicated B2B event where those in the running industry can get together to share their insight and experiences, discuss current trends in the running market and look at future developments. Many of the exhibitors, partners and sponsors already confirmed for The National Running Show are expected to participate in this business opportunity amongst peers and like-minded industry experts. ‘Tickets for The National Running Show Networking Dinner are now available and are expected to sell fast.’

The National Running Show is the UK’s biggest independent running exhibition. Taking place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January 2020 at the NEC, it will once again welcome thousands of runners, sports brands, retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers, communities and expert speakers for a weekend-long celebration of running.

Mike Seaman, Director of Raccoon Events, said “We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a B2B Networking Dinner on the evening of Saturday 25th January 2020. This will be a fantastic opportunity for running-related businesses and industry leaders to network, socialise and enjoy a superb evening of entertainment and opportunity. After day one of The National Running Show everyone is full of enthusiasm and ideas, and The National Running Show Networking Dinner will create an ideal space for this energy to flow and for guests to relax and reflect on the weekend.

“We are proud to be offering great value for money tickets so that the evening can be enjoyed by as many guests as possible. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this networking dinner with a difference!”

The National Running Show Networking Dinner takes place on Saturday 25th January 2020. Tickets cost £75 + VAT and include a drinks reception, entertainment and three-course meal.
