Motiv, the active lifestyle, sports and entertainment company, has announced that Seven Points CBD will become the ‘Exclusive CBD Partner’ at four its endurance events in Southern California.
The Costa Mesa-based CBD brand will utilize the partnership to educate athletes about its plant-based tinctures, gel caps, honey and topical body repair balms for endurance athletes and active lifestyle enthusiasts.
The sponsorship will launch next month at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on September 13-15. This will be followed by the Surf City 10 Sundown in Huntington Beach, the 35th annual JetBlue Long Beach Marathon & ½ Marathon in October; as well as the Surf City Marathon & ½ Marathon on February 1-2, 2020. The events annually combine to attract over 40,000 participants.
“Motiv takes great pride in partnering with innovative companies that deliver a high level of performance and Seven Points CBD is a brand that shares our commitment to promoting an active lifestyle,” said Sam Renouf, CEO of Motiv.
“Our events provide a natural entry point to reach people who are using endurance sports as their core fitness program and the opportunity to connect with a focused group of runners and triathletes throughout their training schedule.”
Motiv adds that its platform of events ‘provides a world class race experience for both participants and spectators’. Each event weekend begins with a two-day Health & Fitness Expo and concludes with a finish line festival as participants celebrate their accomplishments with family and friends.
The new partnership will provide extensive sampling and selling exposure for Seven Points. This will be via an integrated education campaign featuring social media content, athlete promotions, website integration and an onsite event activation to communicate the benefits of CBD for active athletes.
“CBD is the perfect addition to any athletes optimal training plan,” said Mike Banhagel, Founder of Seven Points. “Our products are dedicated to helping athletes improve their performance and recovery and we are thrilled to partner with Motiv to support our mission of promoting big relief, without big Pharma.”
