IRONMAN has announced a multi-year relationship with leading travel site Orbitz. As part of the relationship, Orbitz becomes the Official Online Travel Partner of the IRONMAN & IRONMAN 70.3 North American Series.
The travel company will provide travel booking tools on www.ironman.com event pages for upcoming IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events, assisting athletes and support crews in finding travel options to IRONMAN events around the world.
Orbitz rewards travellers for booking hotels, flights, car rentals, vacation packages and destination activities on its site and mobile application via its cash-back style loyalty program. Travelers earn travel dollars known as Orbucks on hotels, flights and vacation packages that can be redeemed toward 350,000+ hotels around the world.
Additionally, travellers earn perks such as waived TSA precheck, free checked bags and upgrades the more they book.
