Pilates for Sports, a USA Triathlon corporate partner through 2021, will donate US$10 to the USA Triathlon Foundation for every individual who purchases a Pilates for Sports monthly program through a USA Triathlon or USA Triathlon Foundation marketing channel.
USA Triathlon announced its partnership with Pilates for Sports in March 2019. The Australia-based company specializes in online workouts to improve triathlon performance with a combination of Pilates and technical training. Workouts are provided digitally, require no specialized equipment and are suitable for all levels of experience, from first timers to world champions.
All USA Triathlon annual members receive a complimentary seven-day trial to Pilates for Sports, as well as a 20% discount on monthly subscriptions.
“Pilates for Sports has gone above and beyond through the extension of their support to the foundation,” said Dave Deschenes, Executive Director of the USA Triathlon Foundation. “We are proud to collaborate with a USA Triathlon partner so committed to the long-term health of the sport and its participants, and we look forward to offering USA Triathlon members an additional way to give back.”
“We are a new company and have focused on developing high quality Pilates programs that will make a positive difference in the lives of athletes,” said Noeleen O’Shea, Principal Instructor at Pilates for Sports. “Giving is core to our beliefs as people, and we have always set out to be a company with a charitable heart.
“We have seen first-hand the benefits the sport of triathlon can provide to people of all ages. When we were introduced to the USA Triathlon Foundation, we saw an opportunity to give back. We are so excited to launch this initiative. We know that buying something for yourself feels great, but participating in our program and, at the same, time giving back to those in need feels even better.”
In addition to offering USA Triathlon member discounts on its monthly programs, Pilates for Sports equips the US National Team, Toyota US Paratriathlon National Team, and Project Podium men’s elite development squad with complimentary access to all workouts.
