Red Bull flies with IRONMAN Poland Tour 2019

Red Bull will again add wings to IRONMAN Poland Tour participants in 2019. This year’s cooperation, which includes IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, involves other Red Bull sponsored athletes. In 2019, there will be a co-drive with Jakub Przygoński, motor racing driver with the Orlen Team, and acrobatic pilot Łukasz Czepielą.

“The co-drive participant will have the unique opportunity of an extreme rally ride on a closed, properly secured section of road,” said Michał Drelich, Managing Director of the Sport Evolution agency, which is the sole licensee of the IRONMAN brand in Poland.

Jakub Przygoński is one of the best rally drivers in the world, the current World Champion in cross country rally driving and the fourth placed driver in this year’s Dakar Rally. Linking up with the IRONMAN Poland Tour, the best Polish amateur at IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw will have a unique opportunity to ride in the company of the Red Bull brand ambassador.

The first age grouper from Poland at the finish line at Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia will have the opportunity to take an acrobatic flight with Łukasz Czepielą, the current world champion in the Red Bull Air Race series.

“Łukasz Czepiela is one of the best aerobatic pilots in the world who can do almost anything in the air,” added Michał Drelich. “Participants of last year’s edition of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia could see for themselves with their own eyes. Now the best Polish amateur will feel this adrenaline on their own skin.”

Red Bull will also take care of the music during the competitions in Warsaw and Gdynia. Red Bull’s music points with DJs will appear alongside the race route, to help motivate the participating athletes.

Red Bull energy drinks will be available to competitors at refreshment points, at the finishing line and in the regeneration zone, as well as during the events’ welcome banquet and after party.
