Accessories and power meter specialist ROTOR has a customer promotion for cyclists looking to upgrade their chainrings and crankset. As part of the deal, the company is offering a 30% discount on ROTOR crank arms when riders purchase chainrings, cranks, spider, axle and spacers.
This offer includes the ALDHU & VEGAST crankset systems featuring ROTOR’s modular drive-train design, OCP Mount for Q RINGS and Direct Mount technologies. Combined with ROTOR’s one-piece chainrings, which are machine CNC’d from single blocks of aluminium, the company adds that riders can ‘enjoy the perfect balance between light weight and stiffness’.
ALDHU is ROTOR’s lightest crankset at 599g. The name is an abbreviation of the mythical Alpe d`Huez stage on the Tour de France to commemorate ROTOR ́s first iconic victory with Carlos Sastre in 2008.
VEGAST is also inspired by ROTOR’s racing heritage to commemorate its three historic Grand Tours victories – Tour de France (2008), Vuelta España (2011) and Giro Italia (2012). The VEGAST crankset is named in honour of three of the highest climbs of these iconic races: VEleta – GAlibier – STelvio.
