Sean Yates added to London Bike Show line-up

The London Bike Show, ‘the UK’s largest cycling and triathlon exhibition’, has announced that former professional cyclist, multiple Grand Tour stage winner, yellow jersey wearer and former national road race champion Sean Yates will be speaking at the event courtesy of Ribble Cycles.

Taking place at ExCel London on 29-31 March 2019, the shows offer a day out for cyclists of all disciplines. There are more than 300 bike, kit and accessory brands on display and opportunities to test ride the latest bikes on the test track and kids test track.

Yates is the latest cycling star to be added to the packed line-up of home-grown UK & Irish talent, which includes the likes of Katie Archibald, Helen Wyman, Sean Kelly and Ben Tulett.

Appearing in association with Ribble Cycles, for whom Yates has recently been announced as an ambassador for the Lancashire brand’s Endurance SLe E-bike – ‘the lightest E-Road bike in the world’, Sean Yates will speak on stage at the London Bike Show. He will talk about his illustrious cycling career and his recent move to riding e-bikes. Further bolstering its commitment to offering e-bikes, Ribble Cycles will also be launching some new products at the show.

Speakers spanning all disciplines of cycling, triathlon and other sporting or adventurous endeavours will feature across three different stages – the main Performance Theatre, where Sean Yates will be speaking, the 220 Triathlon Experts Stage, and Casquette Live, a celebration of women’s cycling.

Speaking ahead of his appearance, Sean Yates said, “The London Bike Show always attracts an impressive selection of speakers and guests, and I’m looking forward to joining those this month to chat about my racing days and life since leaving the pro peloton.

“Since becoming a Ribble ambassador I’ve been riding their E-Road bike the Endurance SLe and this new direction for me is something I’m keen to share at the show’.
