The London Bike Show and Triathlon Show: London, has announced the appointment of PaceUp Media as its communications agency.
PaceUp Media director Tom Copeland said, “We’re really excited to be working with the London Bike Show and Triathlon Show: London at such an exciting time. It was clear from the outset that the team at Newtimber is dedicated to reimagining what a sports show looks like by focusing on providing both the exhibitor and the public a better platform to interact, be entertained and celebrate their chosen sports.”
PaceUp, a cycling and adventure sports media agency, is to provide a full communications strategy and delivery service. This will cover PR, social media and creative content for the shows, which return to London’s ExCel on 29-31 March 2019.
The 2019 event will be the first since the acquisition of the events by Newtimber Media in 2018. Newtimber noted that show dates have “always been a key issue for the event, with alignment and shared dates with existing trade shows meaning some brands have previously been put off exhibiting.” To counter this, Newtimber has moved the event back by a month to “create an exhibition which better suits brands launching new spring/summer ranges and appealing to cyclists and triathletes getting their new seasons underway, post-winter.”
