TrainingPeaks, a global leader in providing digital training solutions for athletes and coaches, has announced a growing list of partners attending the 2019 Endurance Coaching Summit (ECS) in Boulder, Colorado.
Having previously been held in Manchester, UK, ECS 2019 returns to Colorado on September 18-20, 2019.
USA Cycling and USA Triathlon return as the endorsing partners for 2019, joined by industry leaders Normatec, Stryd, Moxy, Precision Hydration, Scosche Industries, ithlete, and Outspoken: Women in Triathlon.
“I’m always encouraging coaches and coach educators to continue to evolve and enhance their knowledge,” said Kevin Dessart, Director of Coaching Education and Athlete Development at USA Cycling. “Being we always want our athletes to get better, it is imperative we do the same, which is why events like the ECS are so important. The subject matter experts TrainingPeaks brings together are always impressive and exactly what we need to enhance our sport.”
These partnerships with the ECS conference provide coaches with the opportunity to meet and network with industry experts and endurance coaching professionals. Over 30 partners have attended ECS in the past, returning each year to present brand new products and lead round tables on the latest training innovations and cultural trends.
This year, Outspoken: Women in Triathlon will be leading a panel discussion highlighting the persistent barriers facing women in endurance sports, and ways to facilitate meaningful change in the industry.
“ECS provides coaches with a valuable networking opportunity,” said Dirk Friel, TrainingPeaks co-founder and Chief Evangelist. “From national governing bodies to leading endurance technology companies, we’re proud to bring these industry leaders together under one roof.”
All ECS attendees will have access to discounts on industry gear, can demo newly released products, and will receive free samples. In addition, all USA Triathlon coaches will receive 12 CEUs (continuing education units), and all USA Cycling coaches will receive 15 CEUs for attending.
