Trek and Voxwomen have partnered to bring the 2019 Giro Rosa pro women’s cycling event to cycling fans around the world, providing a free hour-long broadcast of each of the race’s ten stages.
The 2019 Giro Rosa will run from July 5-14, and will include a team time trial, an individual time trial, and two summit finishes.
The Trek and Voxwomen episodes will air online shortly after the conclusion of the day’s Tour de France stage and will include English commentary, stage previews with Trek-Segafredo Directors Sportifs Ina Teutenberg and Girogia Bronzini, highlights from the full Giro Rosa stage, and post-race content.
The broadcast will be produced and managed by Voxwomen and will be accessible globally (except in Italy) on Trek’s racing page and Voxwomen’s website.
Trek notes that it has taken a leadership role in the growth of women’s cycling and has cited a need for greater media coverage and easier access for fans. The brand has previously provided free broadcasts of DVV cyclocross races and the Jens Voigt hour record. The broadcast of the Giro Rosa and Trek’s partnership with Voxwomen is seen as a positive step intended to support the growing segment of women’s cycling.

Voxwomen is dedicated to creating more opportunities for coverage of the dynamic racing in the women’s field, so the decision to partner with Trek to broadcast the Giro Rosa was seen as an easy one.
