Zone3 has revealed its latest 2019 wetsuit collection. The company points to two years of research and development, and that ‘the multi-award winning Zone3 Vanquish and Zone3 Aspire suits get a brand new refresh’.
Zone3 adds that ‘the latest iterations boast the newest, cutting-edge technologies on the market, building upon the core features that have already made these wetsuits a favourite amongst many within the triathlon industry.’
Founder and owner of Zone3, James Lock said “The response and excitement we’ve had from everybody who have tested these new products has been unbelievable. We’re always quietly confident that we offer the highest performance wetsuits on the market but when the world’s best athletes who have worn multiple brands over the years say how fast and effortless the new suits make them feel in the water, then this gets us really excited!
“Over ten years of constant research and development has got us to where we are today, and I just hope that as many triathletes as possible can test these new suits out to truly understand what makes Zone3 standout above the rest.”
The previous Zone3 Vanquish was awarded Triathlete Magazine USA: Best in Class; 220 Triathlon: Best on Test, 94% Rating; and Triathlete Plus: Gold Award – 5/5 Rating.
Endorsed by the British IM Record holder, Tim Don, the current IM WR holder, Matt Hansen and the latest elite athlete to join the Zone3 elite roster, ITU star Non Stanford, Zone3 adds that the 2019 Vanquish is set to make waves.
Similarly, the Aspire, Zone3’s best-selling wetsuit, has been awarded: 220Triathlon’s first and only ever 10/10 rating, Editor’s Choice and Best Buy 2017; as well as a 10/10 rating from former site Triathlete Europe.. With gender-specific buoyancy panels, contoured to male and female body shapes, this wetsuit seeks to set itself apart from competitors at the mid-entry price point.
British IRONMAN record holder, Tim Don said “When you put on a new suit you just want to swim in it straight away and with the latest vanquish you can do just that. The amazing flexibility around the shoulders and quality of the fit for me makes it not only the fastest wetsuit out there but also the most supple and comfiest suit I have ever swum in. Bring on the race season!”
The latest Vanquish from Zone3 features a new panel layout and full-span 1.5mm Yamamoto #40 SCS neoprene. This helps to ensure buoyancy, body contouring and fit, with flexibility throughout the shoulders, arms, chest and back. This is combined with a new ultra-thin 0.3mm BRS SCS material on the arms, reducing weight and arm fatigue.
The Zone3 Aspire boasts a new one-piece shoulder and chest panel, combined with 100% Yamamoto materials and SCS Nano coating. These new features together help to increase flexibility and distance per stroke, maximising performance, speed and comfort. With gender-specific buoyancy panels, contoured to male and female body shapes, Zone3 adds that ‘this wetsuit sets itself apart from competitors at the mid-entry price point’.
The men’s Aspire suit also contains all-new Aerodome buoyancy panels on the legs and hips to increase buoyancy by a claimed 30% more than standard. The suits also combine a new laser cut collar for improved comfort.
