During the official presentation of the Groupama–FDJ team in Paris, at the Groupama headquarters, the team’s 2020 jersey was also on display. As in 2019, for the upcoming 2020 season, the team’s kit has been designed by Alé.
The team, during its training session, will also wear a yellow fluo Alé jersey, for more visibility on the road.
For the 2020 season Alé is renewing its partnership with the French World Tour team, Groupama-FDJ – extending the collaboration with the team that includes riders such as Arnaud Démare and Thibaut Pinot.
The team kit is part of the Alé PR-S line, designed to ensure comfort and ease of movement. Also, in 2020, the riders of the Groupama-FDJ team will train in yellow fluo jerseys from Alé.
In recent weeks, Alé launched its ‘Ride Fluo!’ campaign. This is billed as ‘a manifesto in support of the visibility of all those who ride bicycles.’ Alé claims that it was the first cycling clothing brand on the market to prioritise the use of bright and fluorescent colours for its garments. Fluorescent colours will be part of the entire Alé 2020 collection, and will become a more distinctive feature of the brand.
“We all know how important it is to be visible when riding on the roads, these days,” said Alessia Piccolo, CEO of A.P.G. the company that’s behind the Alé brand. “I am happy and proud that the Groupama-FDJ team, with whom we have been collaborating for some time, has chosen to join the RideFluo campaign. The riders will be more visible, and it will be easier for motorists to spot them, especially on bad weather days.”
